Saturday night we went to the kick-off of this summer's "Movies in the Park".
It was my first time watching a movie outside. Ever.
(Unless I'm forgetting something.)
Sounds kind of romantic and cliche, right?
BUT WAIT.
First...there were snowcones.
Snowcones WITH ICE CREAM IN THE MIDDLE.
(Are you serious?! Is this real life?!)
Nothing amps up the romance level like having a frozen blue tongue.
I was pretty excited to find a great local
snowcone shop and to explore more of what our new city
has to offer in the way of community events.
A movie in the park + snowcones + Mexican dinner
+ an afternoon spent poolside + playing laundry catch-up
+ a nice walk on the beach =
one pretty darn fabulous weekend.
Sounds so lovely! And what I would do for that snowcone with ice cream right now...yummy
ReplyDeleteSeriously, snow cones are the love of my life. This looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an awesome weekend. Snow cones with ice cream in the middle, I have never had one before. I need to try! I love your green striped top.

Snow cones with ice cream are my fav!!!! This looks like a great date night. And seriously, can I please have your hair?!
ReplyDeleteI'm so friggin' jealous of your fabulous weekend. I'm not one for snow cones, but the part with the ice cream in the middle? Sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you two are too friggin' cute :)
yum! we have a snowcone place here that puts the ice cream on the bottom, then the snowcone and then heavy cream on top.. and they are pretty much amazing. The movie in the park looks like so much fun!

I love movies in the park... one of my favorite parts of summer in Nashville! However, this snow cone with ice cream business sounds like something I need to look into! Yummy!

If I could craft a perfect weekend that would be it! I love doing things like that that are local and fun and, well besides the blue tongue, romantic. It makes you feel like you are young young again. {like dating}
