I'm very bad at volleyball.
REALLY bad.
If the ball isn't traveling directly toward my forearm,
the chances of me hitting it are virtually zero.
I think I hit the ball a total of 5 times on this particular afternoon.
(We won't count how many times I stood and watched the ball drop casually into the sand.)
Oops.
I much prefer to assume the role of
"that creepy girl taking pictures of our pick-up volleyball game".
Because if I'm safe behind the lens of the camera, that means that
a) I get to practice my action photography skills and
b) There's no chance for shameful pictures of me flailing around a volleyball
court to surface if I'm the one taking the photos.
It's a win-win, people.
I feel you girl, I'm awful at volleyball!! Looks like a gorgeous day to be on the beach though!
ReplyDeleteI feel you, I am terrible at volleyball... well... sports in general! At least it was a great day for sun.sand.salt water!
ReplyDeletei totally understand! sometimes i am just way more comfortable behind the camera!

Maikeni blogi - part of me
Sounds like a lot of fun, no matter which side of the lens you're on. I've always wanted to join in a pickup game of volleyball on the beach, but have always been to chicken to jump in and say "I wanna play!" Maybe next time...Glad you had a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteSomeone has to take the pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteAwww this looks like fun! I'm not that great at volleyball either lol. But I try my best :)
