You stay classy, San Diego.

I should preface this post by noting that I don't do spontaneous.
Spontaneity is barely in my vocabulary, let alone my life.
I'm such a hardcore planner, I plan to make plans. Seriously.
That said, this weekend we set off on an impromptu road trip to San Diego
to meet up with some of Ryan's old coworkers (who were there for a business conference)
and to check out the city for the first time.
With the exception of our smelly, smokey motel room, it was a lovely weekend.
So, a big pat on the back to me for letting loose and going off without a plan for once.
Perhaps I'll have to plan a bit more spontaneity into our schedule from now on.
(You see what I did there?)

Pro roadtripper right there.
La Jolla Cove.
He tolerates me.
"Hi der, I'm da sea lion boss."
Aren't we a squeezable little family?
San Diego-Coronado Bridge.
Worn. Out.
Trinkets. Trinkets galore.
Turrrrtle, turrrrtle.
Spinach enchiladas.
Old Town San Diego.
Dudes being dudes.
Donuts for breakfast!
See you later, San Diego.

  2. oh man, I wish I could put sherm on my lap for a picture like that ... he is forced to stay in the back. I want to live where you live. At least for a spontaneous weekend. Then I might miss the country. *might*.
