I should preface this post by noting that I don't do spontaneous.
Spontaneity is barely in my vocabulary, let alone my life.
I'm such a hardcore planner, I plan to make plans. Seriously.
That said, this weekend we set off on an impromptu road trip to San Diego
to meet up with some of Ryan's old coworkers (who were there for a business conference)
and to check out the city for the first time.
With the exception of our smelly, smokey motel room, it was a lovely weekend.

Perhaps I'll have to plan a bit more spontaneity into our schedule from now on.

What a FUN weekend! I'm rarely spontaneous as well but this sounds PERFECT! Eric and I are definitely going to have to try something like this :)

how fun! it's hard for me to be spontaneous too, but i seriously would love it. yes, i love being a newly wed! except not having money. but that's part of it too, right? :)
