Meet our newest family member!

No offense, but you guys were pretty lame at guessing my secret yesterday.
You were afraid I was pregnant, right? No way, Ryan wouldn't allow me to be in charge of
another human being just yet. I'm still learning how to clean up after myself
But I did manage to talk him into getting a second dog!
And when I say that I talked him into it, I mean that I talked him into
visiting the shelter, "just to see her".
He didn't want to fill out an application even.
But he very reluctantly agreed to drive to the shelter. Just to appease my whining.
And then he saw her adorable little face and he looked at me and said,
"I want to keep her."
And from there, it was a done deal. We filled out the application. We drove home to get
Yoshi and introduce the two of them and let them sniff butts.
We scheduled a home visit with the shelter for yesterday morning,
and I went shopping for lady puggle goods.
And then we picked her up!
So, meet Yoshi's new two year old sister,
Dobby.
(like the house elf from Harry Potter)

Just look at that face. I want to squeeze her and never let go.
Yoshi's still a bit unsure about this newcomer, but their personalities are
so simliar, I'm sure they're going to become best sun-bathing friends
So, prepare...the Dobby pictures are coming!

  8. If you bring in anything to do with Harry Potter, everything is perfect. He actually has Dobby-esque eyes. So now left brain, right brain, pug brains?

  26. I cried for a solid 15 minutes when Dobby died in the book. I cried even harder in the movie. Stupid Elf, died. died. dead.

I guess I'll stop crying now, Ice Cream.
