Autumn is back...and so am I.

This post has been a very long time coming. Were you aware that once you buy a house, you immediately fall off the face of the Earth? I was not. But a summer with a brand new home, a long line of visitors, traveling like an insane person, training for a marathon and shooting my first wedding season as a photographer have seriously pushed the limits of my sanity. And for someone who feels "busy" with one measly event on my calendar, I would call it a minor miracle that I survived the summer sans mental breakdown.

But now my beautifully busy summer has come to an official end, things are beginning to slow down and I've finally managed to eek out that awkward first post after an extremely long absence. Mostly awkward because, let's be honest...
