Mrs. Productivity.

Yesterday I had one majorly productive day.

The kind of day when you're kicking so much booty, you add

tasks you've already completed to your to-do list, 

just so you can have the satisfaction of checking them off 

(and so you have a visual aid when you brag to your husband 

about just how much you got done). 

First, I had a little early morning date with coffee and my novel-in-progress.

I finished reading through the first draft 

and I've moved on to making a few slight changes in the plot.

By lunchtime the temperature was up to 75 degrees,

so I threw on a swim suit, packed up the laundry and ran downstairs,

where my pasty-white skin and I lay poolside with some writing inspiration 

while the laundry washed and dried.

The afternoon was a whirlwind of accomplishments.
I put away the clean laundry (you'd think this would be included in the task of "doing the laundry" but in my world, this is an accomplishment in itself), cleaned the bathroom (cleaning toilets literally makes me gag, just FYI), and sweated it out with Jillian Michaels.

To top it off, I made a delicious, healthy dinner for us to devour (see recipe below!).

 I am super-wife - hear me roar!
