A few words & a whole gob of pictures from our little Thanksgiving.

This holiday season Ryan has a big, bad work deadline looming over his head,

and he planned on working all day on Thanksgiving, but I was pleasantly surprised

when he was able to take the day off after all. We got to spend the morning having coffee

at the beach, followed by an attempt at Skyping our families in MO

(which mostly consisted of on up-close and personal view of my brother's 

sweater vest while he tried to adjust the cheap webcam we bought for my parents 

and sticking the puppies faces up to the camera because, let's face it, they're the cute ones).

Then, I forced convinced Ryan and his scraggily beard 

to corral the puppies for Thanksgiving photos, and he repaid me

by going WILD with the remote control to the camera.

And then...there was pie.
