We married.

The day of our wedding was one of the best days of my life.
I woke up calm, collected and well-rested.
I wasn't rushed.
I wasn't nervous.
I made it to the church to get ready in plenty of time, and
I got to laugh with my bridesmaids while we did our hair and makeup.

And once I was all beautified,
Ryan and I shared our "first glance" in the park across the street,
just before the wedding ceremony began.

And I made this cheesy face, because let's face it, it was a pretty good first glance.

And then, I went to hide in the back of the church with my bridesmaids,
while the men made their march of defeat.

I walked down the aisle to a beautiful acoustic version of
"Your Guardian Angel" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus,
played on the guitar by my brother-in-law.

And Ryan looked crazy nervous waiting for me at the front of the church.

And then, we said our promises. And we kissed.

And after, there was some man-love, too.
Because what's a wedding without a little man-love?

We took some photos at our old high school,
where this whole relationship began.

And we got to spend the entire day with the people we love most.

(our whole, enormous, immediate family!)

And also, the best-dressed puggle in the world.

Every little detail was perfect.

And at the end of the day, I got to dance with my husband
in a field
at sunset.

And it just doesn't get much better than that.
